I wanted to punch idiots on here and facebook spouting off on this topic. Partly because I have personal ties to the doctor, but more importantly because I understood the risks associated with transportation and the science behind quarantine.

That's amazing.
I don't think the seriousness of the illness was overblown....I just think our ability to quarantine and treat it is far superior than what exists in Africa.
Ebola is no joke, and an outbreak in the US would be horrific.

I laughed in my mom's face when she was freaking out over them coming back to the US, but she is a germ freak.
