Also...can Officer Wilson sue the (if any) estate of Michael Brown for his physical and psychological issues?

I'm thinking 'yes' on both.

If he has to, I would tell him to take the 5th.

No way, S. Tell the truth; that he shot for the arms until he had no choice to go lethal. And... that blue head swollen to the size of a basketball ought to pretty much seal the deal.

If the GJ comes back with no indictment, you can be sure that Eric Holder is going to go after the city of Ferguson and Officer Wilson on Civil Rights charges. Diversity, etc.

After all, it's personal.

Not so fast, my friend.

Wilson: "I shot for the arms until I had no choice but to go lethal."

What would be "heard" and reported: "blah blah blah ... blah blah blah blah blah ... I hate n*****s .... blah blah blah blah blah."

That dude is in a no-win situation.

This may need to be its own thread, but I'll put it here and see what happens.
I have a couple issues with what is happening in Ferguson, MO that may not run in line with the majority of the topics out there.
First, why is every incident that make the news viewed as a democrat vs republican event? As if these are two opposite groups. If your first reaction to news is "how does this affect my party?" then you are part of the problem!
Second, do officers in MO carry nonlethal weapons? I understand that people are saying that brown was charging and possibly beating the officer, but is the penalty for beating an officer death? Should the officer first try to disable the person with non lethal means. If brown had a weapon, then I could see using deadly force, but not other wise.
Am I wrong?

Welcome to the fray, bh.

Answer....respectfully...yes. It's obvious you haven't read the many posts which address the error of your opinion.

Say you are Wilson...half-conscious from a skull fracture...a rogue running wild in the community...coming back at you...5 seconds max to save your own life...what do you do?

While not deemed pertinent, I'm pretty sure this has the possibility of being a question:

So Officer Wilson, how long have you been a racist serial killer?

Defense: Objection
Prosecution: Goes to character you Honor
Judge: OK, frick him

If I only have 5 seconds to protect against a beating, then I revert to my training. (I am retired military (11B), so I know why training is important. So when things are chaotic and I cannot see clearly, I can still react effectively. If he had a taser, shouldn't he have "shot" him with that?

Anyway, that is the issue I have. high stress doesn't excuse dead.

There's a simple solution no one seems to be talking about. I recommend the racist police be prohibited from going into the agitated areas and building a 14' electrified fence around said areas which would allow those oppressed citizens to interact freely among themselves without any being subjected to whitey racial paradigms.

In effect, SA...the cops are that fence. I heard one black lady say to the interviewer..."they don't want us in their stores anyway". Wonder why; their/any money sure is critical for a business owner, especially given a sorry economy? Any speculation?

The term used for someone who attempts to gain control of a police officer's weapon is dead.

You seem to think the mob will listen to reason and accept evidence. I'm not sure what you've seen so far that indicates this.

When you commit a series of dumb acts, bad things can happen to you.
