Missouri cop was badly beaten before shooting Michael Brown, says source

According to the well-placed source, Wilson was coming off another case in the neighborhood on Aug. 9 when he ordered Michael Brown and his friend Dorain Johnson to stop walking in the middle of the road because they were obstructing traffic. However, the confrontation quickly escalated into physical violence, the source said..
“They ignored him and the officer started to get out of the car to tell them to move," the source said. "They shoved him right back in, that’s when Michael Brown leans in and starts beating Officer Wilson in the head and the face.

Well, we should take it with a grain of salt until facts can be confirmed, but that sure as hell makes a lot more sense than a police officer opening fire on someone in broad daylight with eyewitnesses present for no reason other than walking in the middle of the street.

I think most of the asswipes who jumped on the Brown bandwagon early on have finally realized that he was not a good kid, and now are resorting to the asinine argument that goes something like this:
"Well, no matter if he was a danger, shooting him six times was unjustified"
One shot or a hundred, it does not matter, he posed a threat and the response was warranted.

I am going to have to say unidentified sources always make me nervous, and this case has been loaded with tons of misinformation. Some of it purpose driven, some of it just rumors reported as fact.

I agree, but there's no faking an orbital eye socket fracture. I'm going to go out on a limb and say the cops are smart enough to not bullshite about that.

OK the main witness Dorian Johnson is covered in neck tattoos. I'm sure there are a few credible people out ther with neck tattoos but I ain't believing anything that comes out their mouth. SORRY!!

I'm sure people like Shabaz will say a) the witness has been paid off, and b) FBD hired a Hollywood make-up artist to make it appear that the officer had been beaten up.

I know...the source is probably a cop. But the facial fracture is a verifiable fact. It leads me to believe with great certainty Wilson's face was fractured. We don't know the whole story but it's not like a cop is stupid enough to try to put forth a narrative like that that if his face wasn't really fricked up. There will be x-rays, testimony of doctors, nurses, etc.
