Was the 'initial encounter' in Ferguson something AA's consider offensive?

In general, do black people view this as harassing or offensive or the cops just pushing authority around?
In the initial encounter, the white police officer approached two black males, who at the time had no other cause for concern by the officer, walking in the middle of the street and told them to move off to the side.
This is an interaction I believe happens hundreds of times daily, all over the country.

If someone is walking down the middle of the street and obstructing traffic on a street with any activity, they're generally looking for trouble.
If they were just crossing the street, they'd have already been heading to the other side of the street and the cop wouldn't have rousted them.

Well ... it's absolute BS.
Next thing you know ... the white devils will expect certain brothas and sistas to be a little less loud in movie theaters and restaurants.
awww ... helllll to the nawwwww....

Most Black folks would think they are being hassled, but they would still obey the cop like Dorian Johnson did. Obviously, Brown didn't and somehow things escalated. If Brown had just followed Chris Rock's rules about how not to get beat up by the cops, he'd still be alive.

The most pertinent section of the Rock segment-
"If you jump a turnstile, you might just get a ticket.
If you jump a turnstile while smoking a joint and carrying a weapon, you might just get a bullet in your arse."

Not the act, just the symbolism, yo

This thread is not for that discussion, but that description of what happened next is so factually incorrect it's laughable.

Here's the main point: If you're in a well-lit place with plenty of witnesses around, you ALWAYS do what the cop says even if he is an a**hole. There are ways to relatiate against bad cops, but the retaliation has to come within the system, and not on the street. The best way for a community to hurt a bad cop is to start flooding the police department with complaints against him.

What are you talking about? I'm not speculating on what happened next, but I know that things escalated out of control after the cops asked them to get out of the street.
