I like half hour comedies like the office, parks and rec, 30 rock, cheers, eastbound and down, etc.

Also like the serials, my most recent venture was into Hannibal and justified, which are both great.

I'm also open to movie suggestions. The format on my tv to browse their selections is terrible.

ITs always Sunny in Philadelphia

Drama:

All of the HBO stuff, The Wire, The Sopranos, Boardwalk Empire, Game of Thrones, etc

Great suggestions, I've seen always sunny, Nathan for you, the wire, the shield, but I think I'll check out GoT or the sopranos

GOT is not on there, but you can't go wrong with the Sopranos

I did too but I started watching it a month or so ago at the request of the SO and ended up tearing through them.

It's 3 seasons, like 12 episodes total, and it's awesome.

I watched a few episodes of this. Does it get like way better? I'm not getting the hype.

Cheap Thrills

Been pushing this one since I saw it about 6 months ago and I don't think I've convinced anyone. Great movie that is criminally still under the radar.

Better off Ted, it's only two seasons but I found it to be pretty entertaining.

Edit: it's a thirty minute comedy, per your likes.
