LSU right-hander Troy Whitty has shoulder surgery, is out for the 2015 season
LSU will hold its Purple and Gold World Series the same weekend the football team hosts Alabama.
The annual three-game series is set for Nov. 6 (6:30 p.m.), Nov. 7 (7 p.m.) and Nov. 9 (5 p.m.). The Tigers football team plays Alabama in Tigers Stadium on Nov. 8.

Hale helped lead the Falmouth Commodores to the Cape Cod League championship series, batting .327 (56-for-171) with 12 doubles, one triple, four homers and 38 RBI.
Laird batted .358 this summer for the Bourne Braves with four doubles, two triples, one homer, 22 RBI, 23 runs and 17 steals, and Chinea hit .310 (27-for-87) with four doubles and 18 RBI for the Wareham Gatemen.
Robertson, also playing for Wareham, hit .277 (31-for-112) with two doubles, one homer, four RBI, 18 runs and three stolen bases.
Faucheux had a 1.78 ERA and 27 strikeouts in 35.1 innings for the Anchorage Glacier Pilots of the Alaska League, and Domangue recorded 25 strikeouts in 27.2 innings for the Winter Garden Squeeze of the Florida Collegiate League.

Whitty would have been hard pressed to make the roster. I guess they could use an injury exemption for him now but I would not count on Whitty in the future, he might be better off looking elsewhere.

this would be epic. maybe bad fans would have to appear before a committee of good fans to explain their attitude and behavior and the committee would then vote on whether to "throw them out" or not. it would be great theater.

I've always had an issue with Franques' updates. He only gives the good stats. The numbers are what they are, let us form our own opinions rather than omit players stats and hand pick numbers. With that said, I of course appreciate the information being made available.
