'Cause tha bosses right ta live is mine ta die
So I'm goin' out heavy sorta like Mount Tai
Wit tha five centuries of penitentiary so let tha guilty hang

The musicians in the group (Wilk and Commerford) after having a taste of working with a real professional (Cornell), are probably settling into the realization they may be stuck with the noisemaker and the angry little man from Long Beach for the rest of their professional careers.

That would sober me up, yet make me not want to go to work.

They're trying to figure out how to rhyme Ferguson with black person without sounding like Public Enemy too much. And the guitar player is working on a new set of squeaks he can loop.
Aw shite, basically what Midnight said..

a real professional (Cornell),

Cornell is by far the most over-rated singer in the history of music. He is a vocal masterbater. He missed his calling: he should have been in a hair band. His "singing" is like 9 year old kids trying to imitate Mariah Carey. He is shite. Cornell is to singers as CC Devill is to guitar players. He is the kid who shows up at the talent show with groupies, roadies and a full Marshall stack - and gets beat...bad....and blames it on bullshite corporate judges. If you ever listen to him again, I will punch you in the throat.

Morello is fricking terrible too, but that's another story for another time.

Ok just stop. Cornell absolutely works with Soundgarden....any other format you may have a point.

Shocking that I would disagree with you on any issue.

I'm not saying he's the greatest singer - ever - but he's got a great voice for this kind of music.

Nothing wrong with a good hair band.

Cornell is to singers as CC Devill is to guitar players.

That's low - like I have to advise my children, a want, if you engage in this kind of hyperbole, it detracts from the otherwise valid points you may be making.

Thank G-d we can find some agreement on this topic.

Zach is a great poet, but just a terrible, terrible singer - no one would hire him to sing, other than his own band - not his mother, not his best friend, not his wife - NO ONE - and many would probably pay him to keep his mouth shut and write more Marxist poetry.

Listening to Rage right now at work. Love their music, find their politics amusing.

The only kind of hip-hop/rap I like is when they're really, really angry. NWA, Rage, Public Enemy... I don't care what they're saying - they mean what they say and that's good enough for me.
