LINK

Top five went like this:

Pels
Suns
Raptors
Hornets
Jazz

of the teams in the top ten, only 1 made the playoffs last year. OKC.

Not a lot of substance but rankings were based off of win shares, Average PER, Top five picks, and lottery picks(taking into account players 25 and under)

Pels looked like this:

Win Shares: 22.2
Average PER: 17.2
Top-Five Picks: 2
Lottery Picks: 5

Added the link to the OP.

I know some of their stuff is BS opinions from guys who don't matter. but they actually have added some really good writers. One of the guys they added on the football side(freeman I think is his name) was an assistant coach with the patriots for a long time. there is definitely some work to be done with their NBA writers though.

Their NBA content is pretty terrible. This is their lead writer's prediction for who will be our starting 5 this season.

Yea that's pretty bad.

Like I said NBA content hasn't caught up to the NFL side yet.

Being an assistant coach doesn't make you a good sports writer.

They are still a predominantly user generated content site, which is cool and all, but I'll get my content elsewhere.

Turner Sports bought them out about 2 years ago. They are no longer a cesspool of forum posters writing click bait. It used to be you'd get 1 decent article for 9 terrible ones, but it's been a while since I saw a Bleacher Report article that wasn't average for current journalistic standards.

The writer says Asik is our best bench player when JH, EG, Reke, Ryno, and AD are on the floor which is hard to argue with but he is a fool if he thinks Ryno starts over Asik.

That's par for the course with a national level writer. The article linked to was guessing at all 30 starting lineups, I'm sure he made plenty of wrong guesses. "current journalistic standards" doesn't mean good, it just means you're doing half assed analysis of facts broken by someone else. Which, as crazy as it sounds, is a big step above what Bleacher Report used to put out.

My point was his "articles" aren't filled with pointless speculation and opinionated fluff. He does a lot of film and scheme break downs and gives a lot of insight that most writers can't offer.
