Who else has lost respect for CNN with their Ferguson coverage?

I know they are left leaning, but I never considered them quite as polarized as Fox and MSNBC. However, with their blatant bias in the reporting on Ferguson I don't think I can consider them a more balanced option anymore.

Wonderful. Let's all give we a round of applause...what an amazing young woman

Lost would imply that I had any respect for CNN in the first place.

Erin Burnett and Brooke Baldwin are both fine as hell though!

I think journalists just aren't very smart. Total lack of common sense. Yes they want ratings but some if the things they say... Just wow.

Of course, but before now I wouldn't have put CNN even in their league. Of course they had bias, they all do, but I didn't place them as far to the extreme as I do now.

I didn't have any respect for CNN before the Ferguson situation erupted. Taking FOX News out of the equation, I would hazard to guess that a MINIMUM of 85% of journalists are anywhere from Left to Far Left with regards to their political ideology.

Obviously, it's the Spiderman tuba and rex types who predominantly go into the field of "journalism".

Never watch CNN. Candy Crowley in the Presidential debate, was the final nail for me. Utter...corruption! I wouldn't watch if they were the only show in town.

Screw political correctness; it's fool's gold and a bane upon honest and productive dialogue.

Sounds like you'll be an Al Jazeera listener now, PT. Pretty good really. Both sides. Surprisingly.

To me for you to say Fox is polarizing because they aren't liberal leaning is asinine.

On a scale of 0 to 100 I would put MSNBC at 100 NBC, CBS and ABC at 90 CNN at 80 and PBS at 95. I would put Fox at 10 percent. Thwy have a lot if liberals like Beckel Jaun Williams, and even the Fox News Sunday host Chris Wallace. Their Hard News with Bret Bair is straight down the middle, and the gay guy at 2:00 is also straight down the middle.

You miss the mark by assuming all the shows are hard news shows instead if opinion shows, and then you don't understand that O'reily is almost a liberal to me, as is the girl who is on at 8:00 with the Kelly Files. Sure, they come down hard on dumb liberals, because they are dumb but they are both far from being a right wing conservatives.

They advocate for truth while MSNBC and PBS seeks to brainwash the public. IMHO, CNN is not as bad as NBC, CBS or ABC but they are caught in a vice and have become irrelevant they can't beat Fox because they started out liberal instead of down the middle, which if they had been 100 percent objectively down the middle, Fox News might have never been born. So to get viewers they have to compete with MSNBC which means they must go further left than they currently are which makes them a worse news organization.

Which us why they are showing Forensics File shows erc. etc.

Shining light on Government at all costs should be a major news organizations objective, not lying in bed with them.

Oh, I'm conservative, but even I can see the slant Fox gives things, which is okay because I will mostly agree with them. Doesn't mean I don't see the slant. I will typically go back and forth between Fox and CNN when events like this happen, hoping I find the truth somewhere in there.

U understand where you are coming from and understood you were conservative. But here was my point that I probably didn't relay very well ( and sure didn't spell well, had to fix a lot )

Our starting point in news from our youth was always WAY LEFT LEANING, so from that perspective we assume they are right leaning, but are they right leaning, or just right of the crazy lefties? Catch my drift?

I don't watch any of the 24 hour news networks...I can watch a little time warner news here in Austin...it's actually the news

With that said, between fox and cnn, I don't see how people act like watching fox instead of cnn is some kind of indicator of intelligence.

cnn is at the forefront of buffoonery when it comes to stories involving race. Trayvon, sterling, and now this...cnn is a fricking travesty. I watched for the trayvon verdict because I was sure there would be riots, I caught a discussion on sterling while in a hotel room that was disgusting and just more blame diversion and race baiting...and from what I've heard of this, it is no different...cnn, more than fox is deliberately obtuse and really more dumbed down than fox (they put piers morgan on the air, they run HLN, which is a notch below Bravo in terms of the informative quality of their programming)

fox does it thing, and doesn't pretend otherwise
msnbc does their thing, and doesn't pretend otherwise

cnn and its viewers parade it as a legitimate news network when it is anything but...it reminds me of ESPN...it isn't enough to have anchors, they have to participate in meaningless discussion.

honestly I think a lot of the legit reports are sick of it all, too

Jake Tapper looked like he wanted to kill himself while reporting live the other night. The more polarizing the better the ratings, and unfortunately that's all that really matters.
