Is a lightly used ascend fs128T for $600 a good deal? Includes the paddle, pfd, cart to haul it around by hand and a few other items.

Second question, anyone that kayak fish haul theirs with a 4 door Jeep Wrangler? How do you do it? Top down? Or some sort of roof bracket? I have a hard and soft top if it matters.

The kayak alone is $700 new plus take. Figure in paddle and PFD and other stuff and that's probably close to another $200 worth. $600 is fair.

I sold the same yak with the same accessories for $650. Had about 10 calls the first day I put it up.

With all the extras, maybe. That's about retail for just the boat.

I haul mine on a 2 door Jeep w a Lange rack.

Nice Jeep DLauw. How much noise does that rack make on the road? I was looking at one for my Rubicon but I ended up not getting it. I also have a 5x10 all aluminum utility trailer that I can haul it on. But it defeats the purpose of having a small vehicle to get around in. I figure for now I can keep my soft top on and tie it to the roll bars and maybe get a mount that goes into my receiver hitch.

I sold my FS12 for 600, so I'd say for the new and improved model that's a good deal.

Fs128t, that's the bigger model. It retails for $700. The fs12t retails for $550. Civiltiger had the fs128t at RTB.
