"Cincinnati named Kiel, a former five-star quarterback who transferred from Notre Dame in 2013. Kiel had been a commit to LSU in the recruiting process.

"The first few days were a little shaky," Kiel said in an interview with the Associated Press. "I think I came out anxious and excited. I think that got me to play a little uncomfortable. So at times I have to calm down and relax and play the game I love, not do too much. I know I’m going to make mistakes, but learn from the mistakes."

Good luck to the kid but I don't see LSU or the Irish missing out on him. He would not/could not do anything for either program's QB situation. Cincinnati seems like a good fit.

Tubberville was on radio the other day saying how pissed off he was with the schedule. He should have been able to change that once he took the job. I see him doing well there and somebody big offering him a job in the next 2-3 years before he moves on to retirement and gets his SEC network gig.

With that being said, has anyone ever coached at more than 2 SEC schools? Head coach obviously. Several have done two but I can't think of any that did 3.

They can't pay anybody enough to bring in a rent a win, and they don't want to go get pummeled by a big boy on the road.

I hope he doesn't get offered shite after the way he left Texas Tech.

I mean he chose to leave.

eta: Cincy? So he joined and left 3 or 4 teams? Guy is kind of annoying.

That doesn't have anything to do with having byes the first two weeks. They're playing two MAC schools and are playing at Ohio State and Miami.
