WTF is wrong with you? Someone posted that they had 35k and only wanted a "new" car and I wanted to know what kind of used car you could get for that price. Friick off.

1996 impala. Then take $10,000 for rims and tires. $6000 for bass. $7000 for a candy & pearl reeses or twix paintjob. $2,500 for suspension.

A 2006 Porsche 911 with a MaxCare warranty from CarMax. Or a 2009 BMW M3 Sedan, 2010 Audi S4, or 2009 Mercedes C63... with a MaxCare warranty from CarMax.

Lots of fun cars you can get in that price range. A 1996ish viper, corvette z06, 2008ish shelby gt 500, 2011 gmc sierra denali, dodge ram srt 10 and then some, and there are plenty more options.

Maybe a private seller could come close to that, but you will be looking at a $45K average everywhere else.
The best I could find on a quick search via Autotrader was a 2012 with 30K miles for 41Kish.
You could probably follow Will Cover's used car buying tactics and get them down to 38-39K.
