Go DVR sports center if you haven't seen it. Very touching piece on ALS.
The idea of an elite athlete being reduced to possibly the most weakened state a human being can experience is very profound and heartbreaking.

ALS sucks. Had two family members die from it.
Worst part is you're totally aware of what's going on.
Hope they find a curr for it someday
