Family driving down Prescott Rd, a car passes by and fires a shot into the backseat - grazed one kid and fatally hit another.

That's the one thing that pisses me off about this whole Ferguson situation.
Unarmed black teens are shot and killed pretty much every day in the streets, but you'll hear nothing from it besides a few local news stories. It's crazy what people react to

What time is the candle light vigil?

Shouldn't blame the shooter. I'm sure it was someone else's fault.

Meanwhile, Baton Rouge's finest are all deployed in high crime areas like Corporate Blvd and Perkins Road catching the real criminals in this town.

Senseless violence. There is no excuse for this.

So this was just some random act? What the hell is wrong with some people?

Meanwhile there's 4 cops at the intersection of Burbank and E. Boyd

I get the outrage at the police because those are the guys who are supposed to be protecting the community. But, as usual, the protesters are treating it as a cut and dry case and have rioted without knowing any of the facts that led to the shooting. The thing that pisses me off is the fact that the black community acts like they are more likely to be killed by police and/or white people when they are statistically many times more likely to be killed by another member of the black community. But, that would be an admission of faults in their own community which many recognize but will do nothing to help the situation.

Different department, they cover different areas but really if a person is going to be this shitty and just randomly shoot in the direction of other people it's just a matter of time when and where they choose to act out.
