Does Anyone else see similarities between Tony Stewart and OJ Simpson?

Outside of the obviously more heinous crime (OJ), am I the only person that sees similarities between the two offending parties?

(1) I see a rush to judgement. As fast as many in the black community said OJ was innocent, I see many supporting Tony Stewart saying 'it was an unfortunate accident'

(2) we have on both sides a history of aggressive, violent behavior.(OJ beating on Nicole, other girlfriends, running over people in football lol,and Tony Stewart choking girlfriends and running into people in NASCAR.

(3) Both went into hiding after the incident (guilty consciences? Is Stewart considering suicide?)

I know video tape evidence is huge these days, but that didn't look like a 'total' accident

They're both males. That's all I got at this point.

OTOH, say a hockey player whacks a guy across the head with a stick during a tussle. Kills him dead. Whatcha gonna do?

Say a pitcher beans a batter. Kills him dead. Whatcha gonna do?

Of course it didn't. The guy ran directly in front of his car. His family was somewhat fortunate they didn't have to see their son dragged under a car.

Come on, man. There's NO WAY Tony Stewart wouldve let Al Cowlings drive his white Ford Bronco.

Did OJ Simpson hold his knife out and Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman charge and stick their necks onto it?

They have both worn the color orange for significant periods of time.

No. Oj intentionally murdered them. Stewart was, imo, trying to scare the guy and the car slid too far. Is that negligence? Maybe. But, it wasn't his intent to cause death.

These two cases have almost nothing in common whatsoever.

This. Though I don't think any of these guys "scare"; it was more about territory, which is the essence of racing. Stewart likely saw the guy, believed that he had no basis for a legitimate foul/gripe...and held his line until the last second. In that last second when he whipped the wheel to the left to avoid the guy...the back wheel came around. End of one story, beginning of another.

Bottom line...that will be the LAST TIME anybody gets out of their car and moves on another driver.

Tony has a temper; he'll pay dearly this time. For the rest of his life. He surely realizes that in so many ways, the young man was just like him. Sad. But we all learn at each other's expense.

I can add another dimension to this story,Tony Stewert once dated my cousin, she broke up with him and she died in a questionable accident.
