My shoes are about shot.

I take the motorboat out occasionally but I mainly fish out of my kayak. So what's the board's recommendations for my next shoe?

Check out the Columbia Drainmaker.

I have had mine for about a year and a half with no complaints.

I wear West Marine boat flip-flops on the boat, the grip holds up a long time, and they're only about $30. For wadefishing, I wear Magellan neoprene boots from Academy, they're $20 and last a few years if you keep them out of the sun when not in use.

I have a pair of teva churn and they have held up well.

Straight chacos on the yak for me

But, really, I end up taking them off halfway through the paddle out

I'll third the drainmakers. Comfy and drain decently.

I'm barefoot in the kayak but put shoes on to wade. I'm never barefoot in the motorboat.

I almost always am barefoot in the bigger boats unless I'm offshore
