How long have y'all been married?

Or stuck in relationships when they aren't even married
I was "stuck" in one for a year longer than I wanted to be in it. Nurse is the one whose advice about ending it helped

I know divorce is a pain especially when you have children but I decided long ago that if I get married and find myself very unhappy, I'm getting out. Life is too short to be miserable.

because he loves his kids and wants to see them everyday

People can't commit. Weak character. Just is.

People do things.
It's a fact.

A buddy of mine found out his live-in baby momma was cheating on him. They split up and he moved out. That seems like it would be miserable.
I couldn't imagine not seeing my little ones everyday. I m glad I married a woman of strong character.

you know how it's hard to break up with someone after a year or two? imagine breaking up with someone with whom you've lived for 5-10 years and who is the mother of your child.
it's not like dumping your 8th grade girlfriend of 2 weeks. it's changing not only your life, but the lives of your wife and kids. it's a big decision and a lot of people would rather not change anything and stick with what they're used to.

nowhere near the same. marriage, especially with kids, is exponentially different than just a long relationship.

Don't understand tbis. I'm about to have monkey sex with the wife. That 2nd margarita equals balls to the wall

Uhm because one of the essential distinguishing characteristics of a marriage is to make you stuck. Cmon people.

I think Paige was saying that it's hard enough to get out of stale relationships so obviously moreso with marriage
