Sea lions can fly

when propelled by an orca.

Orcas are just badass. Natives in the N.W. call them sea wolves, and it's pretty damn fitting.

It happens at about 1:13. Sea lions aren't tiny, males can weigh up to a ton.

They're awkward on land, but fast and graceful in the water. I've snorkeled with them in La Jolla... Ornery frickers.

Used to dive some shipwrecks around town and they would always try to intimidate you. One major shipwreck is just off of a sea lion haul out, and they'll mess with you. Several have been put down for charging people on the docks.
