I remember watching it at University Theater when it first came out. The theater was next to Murphy's back in the ole school, and I was sceered shitless watching that movie.

I don't know what's crazier: that Jaws was considered "scary" (assuming you were in college at the time) or that Murphy's was around back in 1975 (that doesn't sound right)

Grasshopper, you are reading too much into the meaning of my post. I was very young when it came out. Back in 1975 that was a cutting edge movie, and it gave Stephen Spielberg his first break. There was zero computer film and ray gun technology like today. I was just giving geographical references.
