No. Tress was born and raised in Ohio and is a Buckeye through and through. He would never coach another school not named Ohio State. He coached at his dream school and won a national championship with them. Tress is now in a phase of his life where he wants to make a difference in education. He is done coaching football.

Tress gets a bad rap...because he's not any different than anyone else.
But since he portrayed the sweater-vest and American flag...and acted the American pie Norman Rockwell bullshite...he gets vilified.
Like a lot of coaches - phony and fraud.
But he didn't do anything worse than most. He just projected the holier image and that's why people hate him. If he had projected a Barry Switzer image - people would say...well, shite - what did you expect?
I have no problem with what Tress did or didn't do - I have a problem with his phoniness and fake personna and clever disguise/wardrobe.
As for what he really did...minor, in the grand scheme of things. He's a total fake...but he's no worse than most...especially Urban or Saban.
