Yea we did. We made it to the final phase of Atheon fight. I guess you mean we couldn't make it through the teleport to damage him at least once.

Use the shrieker room. Hang out behind it and the enemies will de-spawn giving you a window to attack phogoth.

I got that last coin so I picked up the exotic auto rifle. I also rolled the dice on the gauntlet engram, it was for a hunter so I broke it down. Then I got some boots from future war cult.
