Lake Ouachita fishing tips?

Headed to Lake Ouachita near the end of September for a long weekend. I know the lake is deep, clear and known for stripers.
I will be fishing in the daytime and at night, preferably targeting black bass, but Im up for catching anything.
Just looking for any general tips for the lake, time of year, etc.
