For those who are interested in or preordering Hyrule Warriors...a few things

That you must know. I realize this topic doesn't apply to most of you, but it is probably in the best interest of your green paper. Since I was recently and unintentionally spoiler raped by Instagram and one of Youtube subscriptions, I'm gonna provide some knowledge that you can use to make the best decision on getting the game. I'm still getting it regardless, but I know how some of you are that have a history with the franchise.
First off I will say there is a live stream sometime tonight from a website called NicoNico, displaying or showing God knows what. Probably irrelevant since the official Japanese release is is incoming. Here's a bit of info you may or may not have seen regarding PRE-RELEASE:
ZELDA AND LINK PRE-ORDER
This only applies to North America. Depending on what dealer you pre-order from, you get a different game design for obviously the two main protagonists.
Best Buy - Skyward Sword skins
Gamestop - Ocarina of Time skins
Amazon - Twilight Princess skins
Should you get the game, upon putting the game into the console, you can take the club nintendo code and key it in from the Wii, and you'll automatically be rewarded Ocarina of Time and Twilight Princess Ganondorf skins.
That's all the goodie goodie stuff beforehand. Onto the actual in game stuff. A few things to note that I won't spoil.
- Not confirmed whether different streams have been played on higher or lower difficulty levels, but to gamers familiar with the franchise who are interested, expect the same bystander effect fighting from enemies unless noted otherwise.
- It appears this game will most likely offer more DLC down the road.....if that gives you any idea of the story and the benefits you reap from it. And probably a sequel as well.
- I'll just say that the story has REALLY HIGH highs and REALLY LOW lows. Definitely don't speed run the story mode unless you have something to prove. Take a Mass effect approach I guess is what I'm trying to say with all the hidden stuff in the levels.
- Rumors of a possible lower price than expected have popped up in a few places, some by as much as $20. TIFWIW.
As expected, a good percent of people that didn't listen to the warriors fans and gamers that played the franchise, are outraged by some parts of the game or the game as a whole. It looks to be love/hate game based on reactions I've seen.
My overall opinion from everything I've seen is they did a FANTASTIC job with the character design, getting the overall details of the universe right, and implementing it into a way that makes sense. There are a few key points they could've done better in, but overall they can fix those easily with DLC (which is a total ripoff if its not addressed by Aonuma at the NicoNico stream).
Obviously I didn't play it. But from watching, observing the plot, seeing character contrast, seeing the different moves and cutscenes and all that blah blah..........I'd give it a pretty solid 7.5/10.
Can put spoilers in thread if anyone wants. Whole game is all over the internet at this point. It's practically unavoidable. I'll leave a small one below

Good thread. I really want this. It looks both different and fun.

Just like dynasty warriors, this will be lame after an hour.
