Just watched this on Palladia for the first time, holy shite did that bring back memories as a young teen. Watching that made me realize the avenues Nirvana opened up not only for grunge bands but for modern rock now.

They were on top of their game towards the end. Like that December-February in 1994.

Kurt was really struggling in 1994. I'd say more like 1991-mid 1993

Unplugged stands alone though, unique show.

I saw them in December or so of 93. A few months before the suicide. They sounded great but cobalt didn't move or say anything the entire show in new orleans.novaselic did all the talking. 4 months later he was dead

i saw them twice in houston before they were famous.

once at emo's (Free) and once for $10 at some no-name club the MONDAY after MTV played 'smells like team spirit' for the first time on 120 minutes and started the craze

eta i still have my ticket stub..i'll get a pic later to make this a real CSB
