@AdamSchefter: Browns announced they signed former Redskins QB Rex Grossman.

Are they about to cut Hoyer and give JFF the keys?

Idk... Admittedly, I have no idea what they are paying Hoyer so it might make zero sense. But why sign freaking Rex Grossman?

No it means that Tyler Thigpen and Connor Shaw are going to be looking for employment soon. I dont mind this move at all. Need a veteran backup QB!

They don't like their 3rd string QBs, he's cheap, and he's very familiar with Kyle Shanohans offense.

Next.

Browns released QB Tyler Thigpen. Thigpen is losing his roster spot to Rex Grossman. The 30-year-old completed 3-of-12 passes for 38 yards and an interception in Saturday night's preseason opener versus Detroit. Thigpen, out of the league in 2013, may be done.

Browns signed QB Rex Grossman. Backup QBs Tyler Thigpen and Connor Shaw can probably start packing their bags. Grossman has a history with OC Kyle Shanahan, having played for him in both Houston and Washington. Grossman will not be a factor to start. Instead, he'll be a sounding board for both Brian Hoyer and Johnny Manziel. Source: Profootballtalk on NBC Sports Aug 12 - 9:37 AM

Tebow need to become as assistant coach under Urban Meyer at Ohio State. That is where he would be good a fit...I feel.

Signing Rex to cut Hoyer makes absolutely zero sense.
