Anyone ever done a divisional draft?

We did this in my league for the first time this year and it ended up being pure comic relief with all the shite talking. We have 4 divisions of 3 teams. So I decided this year I would let the teams that finished 1-4 last year decide who they wanted in their division Before we draft. Talk about not wanting to be the first one off the board

*One thing I will change next year is letting the guy that won pick 4th instead or not snake it because he got stuck with the 8th guy that nobody wanted because he is pretty solid. The guy that finished 4th and got picks 4 and 5 actually has the weakest division.
