On my MacBook. I have the program for ads that shall remain nameless

Honda ads keep popping up while I'm trying to watch a show

I heard they'll go away if you buy the car.

This. You have a virus/malware/adware. Run a virus scan and a malware scan.

Can you recommend one?

Edit: If I have one where do I find it, how do I run it?

It only happens on Netflix. Just started yesterday

Run malewarebytes.

You can also use Hitman Pro.

Do both of those. If they don't find anything then we need to try a few more.

I have chrome because I needed it for something. but I like safari just fine. I see no reason to use chrome when it's just something that needs to be fixed

Guess I'll take it to the apple store

Why don't you open Safari and try doing what the link I posted says to do, I bet you your Netflix will be perfect.

ETA: If you run it in Safari
