Cyan update was the latest update. Go to Settings -> Phone Update -> Check for Updates to see if you need one.

920 has been out for a while now. There's the 925, which is a lot lighter than the 920, but doesn't have wireless charging. The 1020 is lighter, has a much better camera (looks like a mole), and also doesn't have wireless charging.

As far as I know, Cyan isn't available for the 920 yet. I have one and am running Dev Preview. The phone is nearly two years old but it is still a pretty great phone with nice hardware.

With that said, I wouldn't get it right now. Much better and newer phones out now. But then again, there hasn't been a phone that really replaces it. The Icon/930 lacks some features the 920 has and is already several months old.

Baers pretty much listed the most important apps. I'll add OneFootball for soccer and 6tag for instagram.
