I remember being very fond of this movie as a kid so I watched it again yesterday. This movie sucked major balls. The special effects were horrid which I guess is as expected.

I think his weapon made one of Cracked's worst movie weapon lists (along with the weird Clingon bow/sword thing from Star Trek).

This is the movie. It's so bad it's good. There is a one eyed dude too. And quicksand that looks like wood chips

It took him like 30 minutes at the end of the movie to cut through the thing holding the woman. My wife even said "Come the frick on with this shitty weapon"

Along the lines of childhood movies...
I recently caught the first half of the Neverending Story on Amazon. I had totally forgotten the main character was named Atreyu, like the walk-on DT at LSU (A'Trey-U Jones).

I was throwing my Dad's old saw blades around for months after seeing this movie.
Its a wonder my brother is still alive.

One of the greatest cult epics to have ever graced the genre of sci-fi.
As soon as Colwyn stuck his hand in lava to retrieve the switchblade star weapon and pulled it out without any burns, I knew it was going to be fantastic.
(Also when Colwyn is climbing the mountain there is 10 literal minutes of different scenes of him climbing the mountain.)
This movie defines epic.

I love the cyclops' makeup. You can tell the man underneath the mask is wearing swimming goggles, and he has hideously late reactions.
Holy s#!t balls don't forget about the Firemares.
"Firemares can travel over a thousand leagues in a day!"

No movie is legit unless it has a video game.

I still like it. The scene with the horses was pretty good even know.

Same can be said for any rock band.
Played both too much.
If you thought the effects for Krull were bad then....

Also, he didn't use that throwing star enough imo. He should have been slinging it around like every 10 minutes.

I loved Krull as a kid.
The movie that I really really hated was Tron.
