I really wish they wouldn't have gone there... Just doesn't sit right with me as someone who supposedly has so much control and power to do something as desperate as murder.
I'm not sure I want to continue with the show. I did enjoy it up to that point but this murder business feels way off to me.
Anyone else feel the same way?

It got way too ridiculous for me after that episode. Only reason I really finished watching was because I'd invested so much time watching already.

I took a break after episode 13, and I haven't picked it up again. I watched all of Mad Men during this break as well.

You talking about the first season when he kills Russo? Yeah I wasn't crazy about it, but as others have said, it gets way worse

I was really enjoying the series but the finish of episode 11 was the first time I had no inclination to click next episode.
It was cool how Francis would have all the pieces in place but get wacked by being over confident or not seeing it coming and then watch him put the pieces back in place. It was quite intriguing but then after episode 11 I didn't realize I was hanging my hat on a Captain Bligh...

I think the majority whip killing a guy = jumping the shark. The show was still interesting just not as believable. I know all the other stuff he did is not how it really goes down in Washington but it was much easier to believe that is than Frank wacking fools.

Yeah, I thought the end of Season 1 was really good. The end of Season 2 was amazing.
