Fan Day Question

My 13-year-old daughter is so excited to go to Fan Day on Sunday. We went 2 years ago, and she loved it.

Here's my situation and question: She had surgery to repair her ACL (completely torn) and meniscus this spring. It got infected, and she had to have a second surgery and was on IV antibiotics for 6 weeks. She's done a lot of PT and has improved a great deal. However, her knee still hurts when she stands for a long time (over an hour), even when she wears her brace. The last time we were at Fan Day, we stood for a long time.

Does LSU allow people attending Fan Day to bring a small folding chair so she could take a break (while in line) if her knee starts to bother her? It's not so bad that she needs a wheelchair, but she has trouble standing that long.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

They had a similar thread on this a couple weeks ago. Email the football operations now (if it's not too late) and tell them your situation. They will take care of y'all.

This is the first year I'm able to attend the LSU fan day. I will be at Maddox Field House to hopefully get Coach Miles' autograph. Is it gameday crowded or what? Are lines ridiculous? Hopefully it's not like at Bama, where fat guys do a mad sprint across the football field for Saban's autograph. I'd like to know what to expect.

Also, I hope they can accommodate for your daughter. I know I would if I were in the department.

It's crowded, but organized. Line up outside the Field House before doors open, and go straight to the line for Coach Miles. Do not waste time getting a bunch of autographs in short lines. If you REALLY want Miles to sign, go straight to his line and wait for him.

When we went 2 years ago, we visited the soccer and volleyball teams first, bought merchandise, and then got in the line for defense at PMAC. We almost didn't get those autographs. Our football was the LAST one they signed.

I hope this helps.
