I hope LSU offers this kid, I trust our staff but he could be a Lavar Edwards to this class. Jalen Bates, Kyle Phillips and Isaiah Washington would be a good DE class.

What I was trying to say is Bates is a project just like Edwards being he wasn't a highly rated recruit. Towards the end of his career Edwards was a very good player and helped his team a lot. Jalen could be better but I would like him to be a Tiger either way.

I work with a fella who's son goes to Kaplan. Bates won't come to LSU even if offered. I dont have a lot of details to share but from what he's told my co-workers son, he's not a Miles fan. now please don't bash me for anything I've said, just relaying information that was told to me.
