I will take 5 touches for 27 yards in the first chance to get on the field. Positive yardage on every run. 2 7 yard rushes. Good start for the kid.

ETA 6 carries 36 yards; End Q3- night looks over.

No reason he shouldn't have a solid nfl career. He was such a stud for us.

Game is at Halftime right now.

He looked damn good between the tackles, picked up a couple of blitzes as well.

If you go back and watch the Iowa game Hill looks like a first round pick, I think bengals got the best rb in the draft

The Bengals RB situation works out well for Hill IMO. He brings more versatility to the table than Green-Ellis. Giovanni Bernard and Hill should compliment each other well too. Just a good situation for Hill.

As long as he keeps his focus, he will have a long NFL career.

Yeah, a RB who can catch passes out of the backfield and pick up blitzes will always have a place in the NFL.

Cowboys - Chargers is on NFL Network now. I'd rather watch this Bengals game though.

J Hill would have looked great in the black and gold, he's the perfect big back we need for our offense for the play action pass that would've been awesome!! Fricken Cincinatti had to go and draft him before our pick in the second round. After the draft Mike D was on Mascona's show and said he talk to Sean Payton and Payton told him if J Hill would've been their he was going to pick him. Fricken Cincinatti!!

Hill is a great example of what the staff is trying to develop at the RB position. An NFL rookie who has had minimal exposure to contact relative to his role as a "bruiser".

In other words, his future couldn't be any brighter in the eyes of his coaches. He has gotten the opportunity to develop into a tank under fire in the SEC without the wear and tear.

As long as he stays healthy, I see him getting a great long term contract extension when the time comes despite his role at the RB position being the shortest lived in the league. I really do see him lasting a long time.
