It's hard to pin point what it is, but it's a Special vibe that this team is sending off. I hate jumping the gun from just a couple of days of practice, but dammit I haven't felt this good about us since 2011. I think we will make a big splash on the scene in Houston and people will have to take notice of us.

I hope LSU goes undefeated and wins the National Championship. I think we will be a lot better than most people think.

But Jesus some of you are trying wayyy to hard. This team has a "special feeling"...you get that on day 3 of camp?

I feel it too. A lot of people are doubting us but I feel pretty confident. I think it has a lot to do with Fournette being so promising

It's the mentality that the guys are taking, they aren't just talented players, they are talented players that have heart and are working hard to win a championship.

Plus have you seen Hunter and Fournette bro?!

This team will be special by the end of the year. The beginning of the year is going to witness to some growing pains. You can bank on that.

I like us in just about every game, the 3 that scare me the most is At Auburn, At Florida and of course Bama (but I think we are due to beat them). If we can get through that back to back AU and FL away games with wins we are in for a huge year, but we can take an L to Florida and it not hurt our chances.

Auburn, Florida, and Ole Miss in the same month will be quite the challenge.

but I do Agee with this. You can't replace the players we lost and not expect it. Especially with an inexperienced qb

Get through week 1 and then have your growing pains with Sam Houston, ULM, miss St and New Mexico St. I think it works for us this way, it should be enough time to get it all figured out by the grind of the schedule

They won't grow without real competition, which is coming Oct. 4-25.

We have had a total of 2 1/2 days of practice with no pads. Every team in Amercia looks like NC contenders right now.

Perhaps you should temper ypour expectations. I fully expect flashes of greatness this year, but with the youth on offense and a defense that returns a bunch of player who, quite frankly, underperformed last year...I'm not expectimg much.

In fact, to equal last years record would be an overwhelming success. 2015 is the year we make the leap.
