Gas Stove Question on how to fix

This morning my gas stove igniter on one of the burners just started clicking and the stove was in the off position. It ended up tripping out and I was hesitant on plugging it back in. Anyone ever had this happen?

Yes, moisture has gotten onto the igniter and completed the circuit, causing the clicking.
Keep it unplugged for awhile and it should be fine, once it has dried out.
