On 44...I guess it's new.. Saw it the other day for the first time.. I love Mexican food.. But I love a place with good chips and salsa..
My favorite right now is probably el Paso in Gonzales with el mezakal a close second..

El Mescal is gross, but the food is sooooooo good.

I couldn't imagine taking 6 kids out to eat

El Mescal is a dirty hole in the wall on Airline near Churchpoint (between the Whataburger and the Bank). It is the illegal immigrant hangout and often is populated entirely by patrons who do not speak English. The food is delicious and cheap, but the kitchen is not exactly health code friendly.

El Paso is close to the interstate on 30.. always have had good food and service there..
El Mesacal like they said is not that clean but the food is great! Service is OK.. They mostly are talking amongst themselves and you have to get their attention..
I like tomatoes grilled with my fajitas and El Mesacal did it better.. But the salsa at El Paso is better personally..
Still looking for info on that other place though.. Had anyone heard about it or is this the first time hearing about it..

Haven't done it yet.. Waiting for the new to wear off the baby before we get her out.. But 5 isn't bad.. They know how to act and if they don't, they know what happens.. My mom works for child protection so I'm not scared of being reported.. Spare the rod, spoil the child!

Haven't been here too long.. Could you maybe give another general location that would help me know where you are referring to.. Also, what is this place you speak of.. Never heard of it..

Are you familiar with the Diversion Canal? There are a couple of restaurants on or near this water way about 8 minutes from Sorrento. Saritas was on the water in a location on River Highlands up until this past weekend. The owner of the building was sued because he only owed 1/2 of the property that the building was located. The property line was through the middle of the building. The tenant, Saritas had to move after the ruling.
Saritas is now relocating close to the original, but no longer on the water. This is located on Hwy 22, if you cross the Diversion Canal it is less than 1 miles on your left. I am a big fan of their Mexican.
