ESPN Interview

Hasn't talked to LBJ yet either:

quote:

“It hasn’t been too tough,” Wiggins said Sunday of dealing with all of the uncertainty. “You have to prepare yourself for it, and then it isn’t too tough.
“You just have to get used to everything.”

quote:

And for those who want to try and develop any conspiracy theories about whether or not Wiggins is likely to remain in Cleveland, he said he still hasn’t spoken to James — who also didn’t mention Wiggins in his letter in Sports Illustrated announcing his return to the Cavaliers.
“No. I’m sure he’s busy,” Wiggins said. “I feel like I’m busy, so I am sure he’s busy.”

it probably sucks pretty bad that the dude can't go get himself an apartment, get settled, start working out, etc.

every sign since LeBron leaving him off his letter has pointed to him not being there. he's better off in the long run being the future face off a franchise, anyway, and not being in LeBron's shadow.

He still hasn’t spoken to LeBron James.

Wiggins said the Cavaliers haven’t told him anything yet and we know LeBron is in the win-now mode and Kevin Love does that faster than Wiggins, so I guess this should not be a surprise. At the rookie photo shoot Wiggins said again he and LeBron haven’t spoken reports the New York Post, and he still plays it down.

“No. I’m sure he’s busy,” Wiggins said. “I feel like I’m busy, so I am sure he’s busy.”

there's no way you actually believe that. I don't think that any NBA player would be better off not being on Lebron's team. Lebron is the ultimate team player. Any player on his team will be better because of Lebron. Wiggins could stay in Cleveland and likely play in the NBA Finals several times in his first 5 years.

Or, he could go be the face of another franchise and never make the playoffs and be considered a flop and be out of the NBA in 5 years.

sure, if he wants to play the Pippen role.

Wiggins has the chance to be a megastar. he will not be that on LeBron's team. like i said…in the long run it's better for his personal fame.

Perilous line of thought here

MOST would be better off, but it depends on the player and the system.

so if he doesn't play with LeBron he's out of the nba in 5 years? seems legit

Because LeBron is a great player. Most would indeed benefit from playing on his team.

Not every player to a man, though.
