iPhone text msg question

So normally my text msgs on my iPhone are fine, but for some reason I have one contact that whenever I try to text them, my whole phone locks up. Any advice?

I've never run into this, but I did find this.
Maybe you have a lot of messages or big attachments from this person? Try deleting some of your older texts and see if that helps.
