I think I'm more excited for this than Flash or Gotham. It's the perfect setup for a show.
(And I kind of liked the movie actually.)

I am a bit leery about all of the content and the character being watered down.

I would be, if it was on HBO, Netflix, etc... NBC will mess it up (The no smoking thing is a strong indicator of that)

They dove right in hard and dry. Not a lot of hand holding.
One note, the episode floating about the internet is not the final version. They changed the fight at the end and in my opinion changed it for the worse.
Also, the Powers That Be didn't like the chick in the pilot so she will be moving along.
Acting and dialog were suspect but that can be said for most pilots.
Not sure how well the religious aspects of the show will play to the audience so I hate to say it but I don't see a rating hit here.
The effects were not very good. Lots of shaky cam night effects.
I will watch hoping it gets better but I don't know if this subject matter can get high enough ratings to keep NBC happy.

I made a thread about the pilot leaking the day it happened,but I hear the version they showed at comic-con was a little different. The demon he faces at the end was changed to look like a shadow version of Constantine and they down play Liv's role since she's not gonna be apart of the show anymore.
Still waiting for Gotham to leak but at this point I doubt it happens.

This show has my fears of Dr Strange failing elevated a bit.
Constantine spends half the episode speaking (I guess Latin) as he chants at demons. It works in a comic but comes off a bit silly in the show.

Can't wait till we start seeing the general publics opinion on it. Its gonna be all complaints about Constantine being a rip off of Supernatural. "OMG he even stole Castiel's look"

If the acting, dialog and effects don't get better in the first few episodes, there will be a lot more to gripe about other than Supernatural.

Very few pilots jump out the gate with great acting and they already replaced the lead chick.
Some of the dialog was a bit weak and you will see, it can be a bit strange just seeing a guy chanting over and over again.
Seems like they are bending over backwards to have no christian religious symbols.
I may end up liking this one, but long term, I think it is going to be a hard sell for a major network.
Would have been so much nicer on a pay channel. More gore, tits, Murica!!!

He doesn't smoke in the show? His smoking set up a huge plot line in the comics.
