Was there for opening day last month. Awesome experience.

Was able to get down to the backstretch and meet some of the folks back there.

One day...

:sigh:

Saratoga and del mar are on the bucket list, though I'm very glad to have not been at del Mar this meet.

I heard that they've had 9 deaths at the meet. That's unreal. I think the Whitney is a trashy 1.5 million race, if those exist.

ETA:I'm in the hospital and watching. My wife gave birth to our daughter last night.

Congrats!!!

Whitney isn't too trashy. A few good horses.

Guillot ( ) said that he thinks Moreno is better at 1 1/4.

That's funny to me.

Del mar is a mess. They replaced the turf course and widened it for bc, but obviously screwed something up.

I wonder if the # of breakdowns isn't also impacted by the horse shortage in Cali. I'm sure some of them were either running when they shouldn't have been or in spots they shouldn't have been in.

Moreno is one of those horses I always cheer against. Hoping that's his only good race this year...

Thanks guys, I did get to see a replay and did that race remind anyone of Moreno's daddy winning the classic?

I never like seeing his dumbass trainer win anything, so I refuse to make that comparison. I love his breeding on both sides, just can't cheer for him.

fricking idiot. I really wish he hadn't won. Good race by itsmyluckyday, though

Rosie pwned Mountaineer Park today, and I went 5/6 playing a bunch of minor tracks around the country. All chalk, but still

I only had tapiture and bet seattle there today.

Failed.

She really was on fire. I was surprised to see her off Delauney and graham on. Didn't like the race he rode at all.

Wonder if it was Rosie's choice between him an mico or if it just ended up that way because she's been riding for asmussen more. I can't remember who rode him at prairie meadows.

The night races look like they're running in somebody's pasture, but during the thoroughbred meet, it actually looked pretty nice.

Rosie tried everything to cost her horse the WVa Derby. Horrible decision at the head of the lane almost cost her. The more I see her ride, the less I like her.
