I'm not thrilled, but I never went to Las Palmas either, so it's a wash for me.

For most people in BR over say 40, the name Pat's is synonymous with good seafood. Henderson was a point of destination for a lot of people here years ago because the drive meant above par seafood. I think it will resonate with those in that area perfectly, and other people in the city as well. Combine that with the lack of really good seafood, and in that area especially, and I think it will win if it puts out a consistently good product like Pats in Henderson always has done.

I'm always looking for lunch option in the area. I'll definitely give this place a shot when it opens.

Is Pat's open yet? Why does it take so long to open, liquor license maybe?

And yes, BR does need a good cajun seafood & steak place. If the food is as good as it's supposed to be, they'll do very well in that location.

Plus they fill the gap that Dempsey's left. I think they will do OK.
