When asked whether he felt Hamas was partly responsible for his family’s woes, Abdul Karim did not quickly reject that idea or extend unwavering support for the resistance, like many Palestinians in Gaza typically do in interviews.
“I am against violence and killing from both sides,” Abdul Karim said. “The Israeli children are precious for them. Our children are precious for us.”
He added that he hoped Hamas leaders will meet with other Palestinian factions and work out a lasting cease-fire with Israel. He did not insist, as many Gazans have done in recent days, that a cease-fire must come only if all Palestinian demands are met — or that Hamas should fight Israel until that happens.
“Of course I support the peace process. Who likes their family to get hurt?” Abdul Karim said. “All of us have psychological problems. We all need shrinks in Gaza.”
Moments later, he clutched a passport-size photo of his daughter, Hadeel. She, too, had scored excellent marks on her exams. She wanted to become a doctor and join the United Nations, said her father, his voice trailing off, representing the hopes of upward mobility for every Balata.
“They have destroyed my family’s future,” Abdul Karim said.

Stop supporting a government that’s goal is to kill Jews….Problem solved

Now, in the interest of showing us all how fair and impartial you are, I'm sure you'll hunt up and post a story of Hamas atrocities against Israelis.
We'll be waiting.
We'll be waiting.

Sounds good....

wondering what you are trying to accomplish by posting these stories?
we are too smart to think that Hamas isn't to blame in all of this.

Everyone here understands that it's wrong when Hamas kills innocents so why would I have to convince people of it?
I'm trying to get people to understand that it's terrorism regardless of what religion the people identify with

Hey, you're the one claiming to be impartial, here. I'm just looking for some evidence of it.

I'm not claiming to be impartial. I point out crimes that people don't see as crimes. I'm not impartial, I am consistent

Cool.
Then you'll no doubt be digging up and posting something about Hamas atrocities. You know, in the interest of consistency and all.

The Israelis have killed 100 Palestinians for every 1 Israeli casualty this go around. The mindless support of Israel by Americans is just unbelievable to me.

How about the time just a few days ago when Hamas fired rockets within Gaza, firing short, hitting their own hospital? Then tries to blame Israel for doing so? Don't hear that being reported on NBC.
Hamas is winning the PR of this conflict, hands down.
It is absolutely ridiculous that the media has been so Palestinian-loving during this entire conflict and not fairy and accurately portraying the conflict.
Don't even get me started on this extensive tunnel system that the IDF is currently trying to dismantle. First off, imagine if Hamas, the government party elected by the people, maybe tried using all of the resources used for building tunnels with the sole purpose of trying to kill Israelis, built hospitals or schools or homes. Secondly, they used child labor to help build these tunnels. Some died. Hamas does not care about its citizens. Period.
These assholes trying to conjure sympathy from the uneducated and make me sick. I guess they're just ignorant themselves. Or hate Jews. No other reason to not stand behind Israel. If you have a legitimate one, please, tell me. You're probably wrong.

Your numbers are not accurate. But, yes, there has been a disproportionate amount of casualties. Tragic, but it's part of war. Has been and always will be.
What blows my mind is how no one is giving Israel credit for the extreme measures it has taken to try and limit these civilian deaths. It is unheard of what they are trying to do to limit civilian deaths in a time of war.
The support for Israel is simple: Israel and its people stand for many of the same liberties that you and I, as Americans hold so precious. Freedom of religion, speech, etc. If you disagree than you know nothing of Israel.
Israel is an extremely modern, progressive society. Many would argue more so than the U.S. However, they just happen to reside in the most back-asswards region on the planet.
Don't go complaining about civilian deaths when the U.N. explicitly tells Gazans with three days notice to GTFO of this building because there are terrorists and rockets residing within this school, Hamas does not allow them to leave, and then Israel takes out its enemy (three days later), with civilian casualties as a result.
After all this, I have one question for you: Did you support the USA in the Iraqi and/or Gulf War(s)? If so, the civilian deaths in that conflict was astronomical compared to what Israel is doing. I don't hear you crying about all of the Iraqi civilians that us Americans killed as a casualty of war.

And after that visit you can all but guarantee that for some reason Abdul Karim and his daughter are killed because Hamas politely forced them to relocate to the safe confines of a ammunition bunker where Hamas is shooting at the IDF.

+1. I wonder how many of these sheep realize that modern Zionism has socialist origins.
