U.S. Senate gives Israel $225 Million hidden in Border Funding Bill

No, we're in debt because we spend more than we take in, not because of foreign aid.

Sure, 225 million sounds like just a drop in the bucket, but then it's here and there and then it's a steady flow and then it's every possible opportunity to send money over there.

As a fiscal conservative I think we shouldn't provide foreign aid to anyone. Palestinians or Israelis.

It's just numbers. I hate to say it, I would be more worried if there was any reasonable expectation that even a significant fraction of the debt was going to be repaid.

The U.S. had always used foreign aide to get what it wants, with strings attached.
The only reason we are in debt is because we have idiots who refuse to live within their means.
Might mean as little as a 1 cent cut on every dollar spent across the board. That would surprisingly ballance the budget in a few years.

You would think so, but you'd be wrong.
Unless the Palestinians had a chance to actually go toe to toe with Israel in battle (or they finally came to their senses and actually wanted a peaceful 2 state solution), the only strategy they have is to drum up world sympathy for their plight and hatred for Israel.
They need the dead bodies of Palestinian children lying bloody in the street. They don't want to stop the Israeli missles, and they certainly dont want thier dead to include only Palestinian militants.
