going to see my nephew next week in the grapevine /dallas area - what are some things to do that might be off the beaten path?
the rangers are out of town so that's out but maybe a quick tour of the stadium.
is there a AAA/AA ball club that maybe we can catch a game?
amusement parks?
I will google some stuff as well
TIA

Check the clock tower on main street at noon......and 8yr old will probably enjoy that.

Take him to the Perot museum in Dallas. Awesome place that kids absolutely love.

Frisco Rough Riders for AA ball, if they're in town.

Watch for Joey Gallo... Freak power.

just got back from Dallas, topgolf was amazing - dallas location, perot museum was interesting, toured Texas Ranger ballpark, did attend home games of ft. worth cats, and other things. Did play numerous games of catch in the pool b/c of the damn heat.
