Looking for a new laptop for work so nothing special but I need it to run powerpoint, videos, microsoft office, and occasionally let me create a short video....

Here is one I found that I am interested in but I'm not sure of all the computer jargon.

Processor Speed 2.0GHz
Battery Type 2-cell Lithium Polymer (Li-Polymer) 2700 mAh
Display Type HD widescreen LED
Cache Memory 2MB on die Level 2
System Memory (RAM) 4GB
System Memory (RAM) Expandable To Nonexpandable
Type of Memory (RAM) DDR3L
Computer Hard Drive Size 16GB
Digital Media Reader or Slots Yes, select memory card slots
Video Memory Shared
MPEG No
Bluetooth-Enabled Yes
USB 2.0 Ports 1 USB 3.0; 1 USB 2.0
Operating System Chrome OS
Included Software Wunderlist; Little Bridge; AirDroid and more
Drive Capacity 16GB

Looking for something under 600 as I plan on keeping my current laptop and just using it for personal use

That's a small HD especially if you are going to be saving movies.

won't be saving movies.... there is no DVD drive attached to computer even, I would have to buy a portable one.

There is only 1 review on the lap top and they give it a 3* out of 5

What's great about it: Touchpad, Screen, Wifi
What's not so great: Price
The Chromebook 2 is a decent upgrade from the original Chromebook but the price jump isn't justified. You're better off getting ANY of the Intel based Chromebooks.

The hard drive size is 16 gigabytes? How is that possible. You could literally take a shite, sort it around with a couple of sticks and it would be more valuable than the laptop you posted man

Just to give you an idea of the HD. For $20 at wally world you can get a memory stick that is twice the size of that hard drive.

It basically requires a small drive to boot the system..Think of everything else being based off of an external drive or cloud

which is pretty much teh same strategy with android phones and why SD card storage isn't a feature on nexus phones built by google.

Whats the price on it..?

Follow up: IMHO you would need to have a hefty external to make up for the storage issue here...Is the price difference worth it

399.99

Storage I'm not sure what I would keep on it other than word documents, PDF files, stuff like that... Need something smaller to transport back and forth to work and something easy to hook up to a smart board.

for a chromebook???

for that price you can get a decent asus, dell or acer windows laptop...particularly right now due to 'back to school' laptops deals that will start popping up all over.
