I do hope the next season is the final one. Frank needs to fall and fall hard. Make this series a trilogy, and end it. It will be remembered for decades by having a defined beginning, middle, and end.

I don't want him to be assassinated though. He needs to be brought down by the system he's sewn and mocked.

I agree that it needs to end this season, but two presidents in a row leaving office early/impeached? I don't see it.

Frank seems the type to weather the storm and go out after one term.

I have no idea where they are going with the Doug Stamper part of the story.

While not following word for word the UK series, they have followed the basic outline which would end with Frank......

Honestly, I wouldn't mind if they did a time jump and jumped forward 7 years. Make it turn out that Frank is looked at as one of the greatest presidents in history, but Lucas gets out of prison and leaks everything, which will be the first domino that will lead to Frank's destruction. I don't think him being in jail for a 7 year sentence is a coincidence. Frank is not just going to be impeached, he's going to do life in prison, and he won't stand for that.

Will people cut the shite of mindlessly spoiling the BBC series?

Title says spoilers so you should realize it is possible someone would use the info from the UK show to spoil this one.

Once again, it says SPOILERS Up Top.

One would typically infer that it means spoilers of Seasons 1 and 2 not the rest of the damn series.

Idiots.

Can you read?

It clearly says SEASON 3.

Doesn't say season 1 and 2 spoilers. It says SEASON 3.

If you don't want to read spoilers don't open the thread.

Idiots.

I didn't read yours though since you were at least courteous enough to put big spoilers over it and then separate them. Prplehaze didn't do that.

Once again, don't go in any thread that says SPOILERS!

Although if you had read my thread I didn't say what happened.... I just did this....

That sounds like they are just assuming that it ends similarly to the BBC version

I think they will separate themselves from that ending a little

I think it comes down to Spacey. If he is willing to go with additional seasons, I think they will continue forward. If not......

The unfortunate reality is they probably should have dragged out his rise to the top. Now he only has one way to go......

Hmmm...I inferred that the spoilers were in regard to season 3 since the title clearly says "HOUSE OF CARDS SEASON 3"...

“House of Cards Season 3 is a 26-episode commitment, and we would like it to continue further” was the official statement from Rick Cleveland, Executive Producer of the show.
