PSN Sub Account to Master Account

There has to be a way to upgrade my sub account to master account, right? Surely there are thousands of others out there with the same problem as me.
I just paid $50 to upgrade my "sub account" to PS plus and now the only way to have a master account is to create a completely new account?

I'd love to help but I have no experience with the situation. PSN in general is a pain in the arse though.

A sub account can not be changed to a master account.

Okay this situation is really starting to get to me. I can't take advantage of ANY of the share features on my PS4 bc of my sub account. I can't just create a new PSN, I have my RTTS, BF4, and TLoU progress on my sub account. There has to be a solution here somewhere.

Can't you transfer all of that information (except for BF4 multiplayer ranking) to a new account. Save data is transferable.
