Highlights from Kasongo in Juco:

LINK

Averaged 6 PPG, 4.9 RPG and 2.2 BPG in only 15.6 MPG

The bad part (which may sting even more right now)? 41.3 FT%

After watching his video he is Jordan Mickey 1.1
Same program just newer version with very few upgrades. Just taller.

Edit: Seems more athletic. Great post game. Love when he gets ball in post. Can create a shot. (not sure of the competition.) Also he crashes boards.

It's looking like Craig is going to get his hardship waiver so he'll be eligible from day one.

No clue. He's taking several visits this spring, including visits to LSU, MSU, Indiana, and KSU.

That's awesome. I wonder if

A.) It's contingent on which of our bigs go
or
B.) Johnny already knows who is leaving and offering Kasongo means both Martin and Mickey are gone

Mickey and Martin are both gone, probably why Kasongo got the offer

The bad part

Just for reference, John Odo laughs at these paltry numbers.

He does remind you a much less refined Mickey though. Long, shot blocker. Moves alright, dunks well.

Any particular reason he is only playing 15 minutes a game in JUCO?

He wasn't starting most of the time. I think he started in 11 games with six of those being the last six games of the season, so I think they had second year guys over there they used more

I talked to Ronald Dupree in Pittsburgh for a couple of minutes. I asked him about Victor. He said he was a beast, very mature and will certainly be starting next year. Nothing ground breaking here though.

Bob, what happened to your OP, I see it's been deleted?

I'm curious yalls thoughts on 16-17. We could very well lose all 5 starters to the draft or graduation except Victor who we don't know the potential. A good problem to have but can we land back to back top 5-10 classes?

Sit back and watch. If we (and the kids) are good enough for TQ, Blakeney to both go pro, it'll make recruiting easy. Just enjoy it, names LSU is in mix for would put them Top 5-10 again.
