It's simply about being more consistent. He's a 31% 3 point shooter and has like a 3.8 ast to 2.6 TO ratio right now.

He just needs to get those turnovers down, assists up and that 3 point number closer to 35% and he'd be a draft pick at 6'6, 190ish.

Or will the additional talent around him prevent that type of impact?

I think the talent will help him. As inconsistent as he has been recently, I would presume he will make another jump this coming offseason.

While he may not start next yet(just for the sake of this, let's not have another starter/not starter argument), he'll still get a lot of minutes off the bench with better talent around him, getting him more open looks, better recipients of his passes and a more spread out court to distribute

If tim takes yet another step next year he is probably a late-1st guy depending on what happens with other prospects' decisions.

Saw an intriguing one in Tyler Harris PF from Providence. I haven't seen the kids play personally. But size and stats for a team that made tournament are impressive.

Harris has a decent offensive game but I wonder why his rebounding is so bad for a guy his size.

With Mickey likely leaving, I'd look out for Ray Kasongo to replace him.

Rarely started and spent some time on the perimeter. Imagine more like Martin his freshman year with JOB/Mickey in the post.

Yeah, he signed with Oregon last year. Same thing that got JaQuan Lyle.

Please elaborate on this more. I cant find anything beside and article written in Sept of last year linking Ray and LSU.

Would like this if true.

Highlights from Kasongo in Juco:

LINK

Averaged 6 PPG, 4.9 RPG and 2.2 BPG in only 15.6 MPG

The bad part (which may sting even more right now)? 41.3 FT%

Its like dating a dumb sexy model. Has all the right stuff and looks good on outside but just can't get past that one thing that matters a lot.

He'll come off the bench. Craig will undoubtably start at the 5 next season.

To be fair, I still want Kasongo on this team regardless so your analogy still works

Someone has to man the middle until late December or whenever it is that Craig can start playing

Could TQ play swing or 3 at 6'6?

That would look like this:

PG: Malik Newman
SG: Antonio Blakney/Keith Hornsby
SF: Tim Quarterman
PF: Ben Simmons
C: Craig Victor

6th Man: Jalyn Patterson
