How much does tidal movement affect saltwater fishing in the outer bays ? Looking to try Black Bay/Bay Eloi This weekend And there is little to no tide.I know how it affects fishing inside,how about outside closer to the gulf?

I have fished those areas with a seasoned fisherman some and he thinks the tides play a big part in the bite there.
